Welcome to our monthly Sweetheart feature, this month we are featuring the beautiful Casey Trivett from Kelowna BC, a recent UVic graduate.

You recently graduated from the University of Victoria. Do you feel like your style has changed much now that you aren't a student?

Truthfully, no. My style is essentially the same. That being said, when I was in school I definitely wore more comfy clothes and now that I am graduated I like to be more dressed up. But at the end of the day, I really like clothes that are versatile, that I can dress up and dress down.

You graduated with a degree in psychology, what is the most interesting thing you learned about the human psyche?

That's a pretty broad question! Haha but I think the most fascinating thing I learned is how powerful our minds are. We can convince ourselves of anything. If we believe a placebo is real then chances are we will feel the effects. I find that concept empowering, mind over matter.

If you were stuck on a desert island and could only eat three food items what would they be?

Ironically Coconut! It's just too healthy not to eat every day. Chocolate, because come on, it's chocolate, and turkey sandwiches, because they are so delicious.

You've recently been working out to 'Jillian Michaels 30 day shred' workout DVD. Have you noticed a difference?

Yes! I have much better stamina. I have really noticed it in my arms. The plank is the easiest thing in the world to me now. It doesn't even feel like exercise anymore. I love how Jillian has a sense of humour and her enthusiasm is contagious. I love everything about her.

What accessory can you not live without?

My Pandora bracelet. It is a charm bracelet, and each bead was given to me by someone I love. It reminds me on a daily basis of all the people that are close to my heart.

What beauty product makes or breaks your daily routine?

My highlighter! It brightens up my face and therefore brightens up my day.

You are known as quite the fashionista, what trend are you most excited for this Summer?

Coloured denim has been strong all spring but I am really looking forward to pastel jeans, especially a cute pair of mint denim capris.

If you had the choice to be a student again would you?

In a heartbeat. I love learning and I guess that's a good thing since I will be going to law school in the Fall!

You lived in Victoria, BC for four years, if you could recommend one place to someone visiting for the first time where would you send them?

Dallas Road is pretty cool. Especially if you are a dog person like me. Everyone takes their dogs there. It's not a dog park but it's along the ocean and it's pretty amazing.

If you could be on any reality show what you be on?

Wheel of fortune because I am so good at it. I would rock the toss up round!

Why do you think Silver Icing is so insanely awesome?

It's affordable! I don't feel ripped off when I buy Silver Icing. The quality is really amazing, you have to see it to believe it.
