Pink Shirt Day was first started in 2007 by two high school students in Eastern Canada. The initiative was sparked after they witnessed a younger student being bullied for wearing pink. In an effort to support their classmate, the teens bought themselves and their friends’ pink shirts to wear to school and took a stand against bullying.
This single act of kindness inspired an entire movement. Initiatives across the country and around the world have encouraged people to be kind, be inclusive and support one another.
We have built a community that believes in collaboration over competition – a group of women who celebrate each other’s wins and shoulder each other’s losses.
This year, Pink Shirt Day, a.k.a. Anti-bullying Day, falls on Wednesday, February 23. We will be launching our Human Kind Tee & Kids Human Kind Tee next week which gives everybody plenty of time to sport this amazing tee on Pink Shirt Day this year.
We are pleased to announce that $5 from the sale of every Human Kind Tee & Kids Human Kind Tee will be donated to Kids Help Phone; a 24/7 helpline for kids, teens and young adults from coast to coast who are battling things such as bullying, depression, grief, anxiety and loneliness.
We thank you in advance for your support.
