As the Silver Icing Marketing Copywriter, your role is to write clear, compelling and accurate copy for
various marketing channels. You have a very strong attention to detail, exceptional written and verbal
communication skills and have a passion for writing. You are responsible for producing engaging content
relating to but not limited to: daily product information and analysis, website copy, social media
content copy and more. Assistance to the marketing team as needed, for example, daily scheduling to
social media platforms.
As a Marketing Copywriter, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to attract and
engage more customers and promote our brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase social
engagement (likes, shares, etc.) as well as produce interesting written content and proofread work for
quality and accuracy.
IMPORTANT: THIS IS A FULL-TIME IN-HOUSE POSITION AT OUR HEAD OFFICE.
Responsibilities
Create and write clear and interesting copy with distinct brand voice
Create copy for websites, social media platforms, emails, ad campaigns, and more
Brainstorm creative content and copy ideas with other team members
Develop and implement creative marketing and communication strategies for target audiences
May be required to perform some editing tasks and revisions to help adhere to a company style
guide and brand voice
Boost SEO traffic to the company website for optimal online visibility
Create, proofread and edit copy as needed
General assistance with social media management and content creation
Facilitate online conversations with customers
Daily scheduling to social media channels
Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
Report on and analyze results for strategy improvement
Report on online reviews and feedback from customers
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering the traffic and customer engagement metrics
Oversee layout of social media accounts
Keep up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
Pitch in where help is needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English or Communications, with a focus on writing or creative writing is an asset
Proven work experience in copywriting, copy editing or related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
STRONG attention to detail
Experience in multiple social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok
Enjoy collaboration and working with a team but can also work independently with little supervision when necessary
Basic graphic design skills an asset
Love of fashion
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and deadline-oriented environment
