Women of all shapes and sizes who value quality, design and versatility in their wardrobe but want good quality clothing that is actually affordable.
Quality, fashionable athletic wear, that won't break the bank.
Instead of having just one vision, we have several beliefs that we adhere to:
1. Quality that won't break the bank: Why sacrifice fashionability or quality for affordability? We think you deserve it all and we are determined to offer it to you at the best price possible.
2. Fashion where it is leaset expected: We believe that even your gym-wear deserves to be fun and on-trend. Perhaps your cute new raceback is the only reason you want to work out today - then so be it!
3. Comfy cozies are where it's at: We want to be comfortable ALL the time, period.
4. Style + performance for the gym and real life: Why not make the most of your wardrobe? By merging style and performance your clothing now works for you. Not only can you wear it to the gym, but you can wear it anywhere! (Okay maybe not to the Oscars, but you get what we mean...).
5. Everything in moderation: We embrace the fact that no one is perfect, enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle and that butter cream icing too! (That's what the 'muffin-top free' pants are for).
The heart shaped 'S' reflects femininity with regards to design and catering to real women of all shapes and sizes. It also looks like a 'crossed heart' which is another way of saying promise. This is fitting with our mission statement 'cross our heart... we offer quality, fashionable athletic wear, that won't break the bank.'
Besides retailing through our online store, Silver Icing can also be found at various retailers across Canada and the United States. You can also find us on The Shopping Channel (TSC) in Canada and QVC in America.
Our current strategy is to continue growth through wholesale, internet and television retailing. That being said, embracing change is something that we feel is necessary in the ever changing retail market. We are always open to the many and limitless possibilities that life brings our way.
At this time we are not expanding into franchises. This could be an option in the future but does not currently fit with our corporate strategy. We are rapidly expanding our
wholesale division; if you are opening a new store and wish to carry Silver Icing please get in touch with us via
email. We are also expanding into
home parties. For more information on how you can be involved check out our home party information page
here.
We are always interested in hearing from fantastic new stores who wish to carry our product. If you are looking for information regarding wholesale please
email us or check out our wholesale information page
here.
Skyler Clothing was the first venture for Vancouver entrepreneur Christina Marcano (now owner of Silver Icing). Skyler Clothing was a Canadian manufactured athletic-wear brand with a strong retail and wholesale presence in the North American yoga apparel market.

We heart Bamboo - Bamboo Brushed Terry

We heart Icewick - Our custom performance icing

- Fabric for high impact: (great for yoga, pilates, running, cycling, dance or the gym)
- Designed to keep your temperature moderate while wicking away sweat keeping you dry
- Fade resistant so black stays black
- Forms to body but does not lose its shape
This varies on fabric type. For more information read the fabric descriptions above.
For longer lasting garments we recommend a cold wash and hang to dry, however most of our clothing can be washed and dried on warm if necessary. Icewick should not be washed with towels and cottons as this can cause a garment to pill unnecessarily. For more information check the Fabric & Care tab on individual product pages.
Silver Icing is designed in Vancouver and manufactured overseas. The Silver Icing brand is focused on offering the highest quality clothing while remaining ethically conscious in our manufacturing process and this remains a major concern for us. It was our number one priority to make sure we never compromised in this area. The factories that we work with follow the ILO (International Labour Organization) guidelines in relation to: paying fair wages, providing a clean and comfortable working environment, minimum age stipulation, number of hours worked, maternity leave benefits, and the right of association. They also support the wider community in which the workers and their families live. For example, at one of the facilities in China, they provided a donation to the local elementary school where many of the workers' children attend, for the purchase of much needed books and other materials.
