What's your secret recipe for success?
Work hard, play hard
Are there any big fashion trends coming up that we should be aware of?
Colour in all shapes and forms! We're seeing it on everything from denim, to shoes and handbags. It's a great trend that everyone can be a part of, and we're not seeing it go anywhere.
If you were stuck on a desert island, what is the one accessory you couldn't live without?
Iphone, especially if there's service. If there isn't, hopefully there's a bunch of apps downloaded.
What colours are you feeling for Spring?
Definitely the colour of the year, Pantone's Tangerine Tango. Turquoise is also a perennial favourite and you can't go wrong with lemon yellow, cognac brown and white!
Sechelt BC is a pretty amazing little town, what is your favourite thing about the area?
It is my 25th year in retail in Sechelt and it is so great to know everyone and now seeing a 2nd generation of customers in my store. There is a baby boom going on here.
What music is currently playing at Lucy's?
Adele. We utilize the digital music station "Galaxy Hitlist". It has a pretty good variety and is fairly current with what's going on in music. Though it can definitely get repetitive!
If Lucy's had a mission statement what would it be?
To have fun while working and making sure the customer is satisfied with their shopping experience in our store.
What trend from the past would you like to see make a comeback?
Bohemian and it is back.
What beauty products can you not live without?
Moisture cream, bronzer and lip gloss
What is your morning motivator; what gets you up to start the day?
I love yoga and anything outdoors. A good run or bike ride up the Chapman Creek falls does wonders to clear the head.
What is your morning motivator; what gets you up to start the day?
Having a cup of coffee and looking out at the view of Davis Bay.
Spring, Summer Fall or Winter?
Definitely Summer. There's so much natural beauty the Coast offers when it's sunny and warm out!
What celebrities do you find to be the most inspiring in terms of fashion?
Elle Macpherson has a great boho-chic style that I really identify with.
What are your must-read fashion blogs or websites?
